Navigate a New Future
This is for you if you want to know more about how I am seeing women through to their next stage of life. Midlife – in all its messy, beautiful, awful, perfection is a meaningful transition. From hip pain to mood swings, half the population pretty much deal with this at some point. And yet we’ve only just started talking about it and seeing it as an important portal to real womanhood and wisdom.
As we navigate a new future with a different body, a different purpose, and kids becoming more independent. Or planning lifelong care for a child with a disability. Or if you’re like me, I dealt with perimenopause while raising young children. And have a kid with lifelong support needs. Or maybe, like many of my friends, you have no children and need to make confident sense of that too. Point is…..I know I’m not alone.
I have spent the last decade working with mums and dads to support their mental wellbeing in the parenting journey. And now, I am seeing a huge need for guiding women in midlife. I’m 57 and have found the transition so far enlightening, challenging and purposeful. Painful and confusing. But now I’m emerging I feel amazing again.
It’s essential to have the right lens and understand the evidence based information available. While also remembering the wise old ways to slow down and love the life you have.
Kathryn and I have really enjoyed putting a program together for you, with the first session on the 21st August. Put some time aside for yourself. Join us. It’s going to be wonderful and nurturing and hopefully the start of many offerings for focusing on the joy in midlife.
